KaDeWe in Berlin, Lafayette in Paris, Harrods department store in London, is there something similar in Rome? Here it is. Small but mighty! The La Rinascente flagship store in via del Tritone.

Between the basement and the roof terrace, the department store spreads its elegant offer for you over eight floors.

It is not easy to find suitable areas in the city center for a department store, and so the group La Rinascente has managed a small miracle. After 11 years of construction, the flagship store in Via del Tritone opened in October 2017. On 14,000 m² you will find over 800 brands.

A special achievement is the integration of the ancient aqueduct Vergine into the La Rinascente flagship store. The aqueduct, inaugurated by Augustus in the year 19 BC, brings until today the water to the Trevi Fountain and other wells in the city.

You can visit the aqueduct in the basement of the La Rinascente flagship stores. You can relax there at the bar. Light projections inform about details of the aqueduct.

The department store is also architecturally interesting. A large atrium goes through the entire central area from the ground floor to the roof. On wide escalators you can easily switch between floors and a large elevator system will bring you up quickly to the food compartment and restaurants on the 6th floor.

In the basement you will find not only the archaeological exhibition of the aqueduct, but an interesting selection of designer pieces with many classics and innovative products, lighting, electronics, Office supplies, cases and gadgets.

On the ground floor there are jewelry, watches, sunglasses and accessories.

On the first floor are the fragrances, toiletries and lingerie.
